We are a small private music school in Purewell, in the middle of our Christchurch community.

If you or your child are thinking about learning to play a musical instrument, learning to sing or update your skills, we'd love to hear from you.

We offer 1 to 1 lessons to people aged from 6-106! BEGINNERS WELCOME!

Hello!

I'm Lisa, teacher/general admin bod here at Christchurch Music School. Thank you for taking the time to see what we offer.

We have a lovely team of passionate, experienced & skilled, instrument & singing teachers here and we welcome new students of various ages and stages.

A little info; I've been teaching Singing and Piano for 13 years and I LOVE it. I taught at 2 private music schools in Sydney and teach both here at CMS and at a couple of local secondary schools.

I have a BMus (Vocals), Cert lll in Business Admin, Grade 8 Vocals, Music Theory & Grade 5 Piano. I've worked as a professional singer & still love to do studio session singing work. I'm a Mum to an amazing 8 year old who keeps me busy outside of teaching & running our school.

Contemporary music, music theory and the Arts are my main "obsessions". I'm incredibly passionate about teaching music to children and re-introducing adults to their passion for music too.
